About

Kuta is a tourist area, administratively an urban village (kelurahan), and the capital of Kuta District, Badung Regency, southern Bali, Indonesia. Hit the beach in the early mornings so that you can claim a spot on the sand, together with surfers steadily watching for ocean swells as the action takes place on the waves.

Kuta Beach

Kuta Beach’s focal point is its central section, aptly named ‘Halfway’. Here, you only need to cross the Jalan Pantai to Kuta Beachwalk, a modern shopping, dining and entertainment complex, filled with numerous tenants.

The beach has been notable since the early 1970s. Kuta beach is also known as Sunset Beach, as opposed to the Sunrise Beach, another name for Sanur Beach. Luxury resorts, restaurants, and clubs are located along the beach.

A lively beach town that never sleeps where visitors come to Kuta every year to surf on beautiful beaches that stretch for miles and watch the sunset with a cold Bintang beer in hand.
